This is a customized Rolex Submariner reference 16610 featuring a 40mm stainless steel case and automatic movement. Originally produced in 1997, this piece has been modified with a professionally refinished original dial and a matching aftermarket blue bezel insert, giving it the aesthetic of the modern white gold Submariner "Smurf," a model that currently retails for over $40,000.
The watch features a sapphire crystal and the classic Submariner date window at 3 o’clock with quick-set functionality. The band measures 8" in length and shows some stretch and minor wear, consistent with age.
Though this is not an all-original collector piece due to the custom dial and bezel, it presents a high-impact look at a fraction of the cost of the white gold reference. It offers the reliability of Rolex engineering with a unique, upgraded appearance that stands out.
This watch does not come with original box or papers but will be delivered in a generic green watch box. It includes our lifetime warranty (see terms), and we’re happy to provide an appraisal upon request, which will detail the model, serial number, photo, and all relevant information.

In order to take advantage of our our Lifetime Warranty, the watch must be serviced every 3 years by us, Sumpters Jewelry to make sure the movement is properly maintained. This includes disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning, re-oil, assembly, timing adjustment, the replacement of any worn parts and gaskets. Please note the watch owner pays for this service. This warranty does not cover any case parts, crown, crystals, bezel, tube and bracelet parts, theft, loss or acts of God, accidents such as blows, impacts damage resulting from any tampering of the watch by any other person(s) other than Sumpters Jewelry, damage from mistreatment or improper use, water damage, or modification through the addition or substitution of parts or accessories not supplied at the point of sale.
